Apart from ancient Egyptian culture, life, and society, the collection will also be including important parts of their death rituals.

Some Insights into Egyptian Culture

The segments of the exhibition are intended to take the visitors along the fascinating ancient history of Egypt. The first part will deal with the symbolizing lifetime statues of the Egyptian rulers and gods. Here, one gets the opportunity to witness massive, ornately sculpted stone statues and busts embodying the importance and power of the pharaohs. The Egyptians worshipped these statues, each dedicated to a deity or a pharaoh, and with the stone from which they were sculpted, reflects the emotion, devotion, and artistry that were poured into the heart and soul of Egyptian civilization.

The second part deals with the stone stelae, numerous of which are inscribed, painted, and hieroglyphically written. These stelae were erected to record or worship something, and they hold priceless documents of the ancient Egyptians. You will be able to study the documents concerning one of the oldest civilizations of the globe. These amazing remnants give the viewer a rare opportunity to witness the history of civilization first hand.

Another subsection will cover the coffins and masks of mummies, which have intrigued both historians and archaeologists alike. These artifacts, which preserved the remains of the Ancient Elite of Egypt, demonstrate the intricate ritualistic embalming processes and religious practices woven into the fabric of Ancient Egyptian civilization. EXCELLENT CHANGE: Invaluable materials mummies and their burial artifacts preserved, shed warmth and depth onto civilization, aiding historians and archaeologists in their understanding of, and embark on transcending into, the Egyptian realm of the afterlife.

The last subsection will include mummified animals alongside everyday objects, where visitors can explore the lives of common Egyptians. Everyday life in Egypt can readily be assessed through tools, pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Moreover, the mummified remains of animals on display indicate the profound reverence with which the Egyptians regarded animals, frequently becoming mummified as sacrificial offerings to the deities, as well as cherished companions in the afterlife.
