Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Launches Peptide Eye Prep Patches

Wake up.

Hailey Bieber’s Rhode is adding to its existing product suite with a new, caffeine-infused innovation named Peptide Eye Prep.

Available to purchase starting Oct. 9, these hydrogel eye patches, priced at $25, are designed to depuff and brighten the under eye in the morning and at night, using a coffee bean-derived antioxidant, sodium PCA, glycerin and a terapeptide.

The cruelty- and fragrance-free, bean-shaped patches — sold in the official Rhode logo print and a signature “r” print — also target dark circles and fine lines, with a tightening and cooling effect achieved even without refridgeration.

Rhode’s product release follows its retail debut in Sephora on Sept. 4, which went down in the retailer’s history as the biggest brand launch in North America. Data shared by Rhode showed its success surpassing the previous record-holder by 2.5 times. On launch day alone, the brand reportedly made up 35 percent of Sephora North America’s online sales and subsequently totaled $10 million in retail sales in the first two days per YipitData.

The eye patches are available with a Rhode logo print and an “r” print.

A month before the retail launch, Bieber told WWD she’s directing all of her attention on Sephora. “I was going to say I just want to get my feet wet, but I want to dive right into the retail experience,” she said. Bieber’s also working overtime on the back end; she’s released three new products in four months, including the Lemontini Peptide Lip Treatment, the Glazing Mist and the Peptide Eye Prep. These drops have also come in the wake of E.l.f. Beauty’s acquisition of the brand, in a deal valued at $1 billion, this past May.
