Lorenzo Pellegrini is into the final year of his contract at Roma and his future remains uncertain heading into the 2025-26 season, and while there are talks of a potential Premier League move for the former Giallorossi captain, Fiorentina are not particularly interested as things stand.
Fiorentina not a realistic option for Pellegrini
Pellegrini has just over 10 months remaining on his current Roma contract, which is due to expire at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
The 29-year-old could be allowed to leave the Stadio Olimpico under suitable conditions this summer, and there have been whispers of a potential Premier League move in the offing.

What is for certain is that Pellegrini is not a name that is currently on Fiorentina’s shortlist for the summer transfer window, despite there being some rumours circulating on Monday evening.
Fiorentina have a solid midfield department with the likes of Simon Sohm, Nicolo Fagioli, Rolando Mandragora, Amir Richardson, Cher Ndour and Jacopo Fazzini; A surplus if anything.
That leaves Fiorentina as an unlikely destination for the 26-time Italy international heading into the 2025-26 season.
