Manchester City begin their pursuit of regaining the Premier League title they lost last season on Saturday when they make the trip to Wolves on the opening weekend of the 2025/26 season.

City have had a disjointed pre-season given their involvement in the inaugural Club World Cup, which saw them knocked out at the last 16 stage by Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal.

As a result, Pep Guardiola’s side made a later than usual return to pre-season but they did manage to get a useful run out in Italy last weekend, beating City Football Group sister club Palermo 3-0 in Sicily.

They now head to the West Midlands to take on Vitor Pereira’s side as they look to make a winning start to the new campaign.

It should be an excellent atmosphere but if you haven’t got a ticket in the away end at Molineux and wish to watch the game at home, Sky Sports are showing it live.

You can take advantage of Sky Sports’ discounted TV bundle to make sure you don’t miss a kick.

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, saving members £192 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 more.
