President Donald Trump’s White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, offered her 2.2 million Instagram followers a peek into her personal life this weekend.

The political government official posted to her Instagram stories on Sunday, showcasing all the components for her evening meal preparation. Arranged across her kitchen stovetop were pasta, several packages of uncooked chicken, broth, flour, a fresh lemon, bottled lemon juice, butter, and minced garlic in a jar. Additionally, she had extra virgin olive oil, capers, and parsley on hand, presumably for decoration.

“Chicken piccata incoming…[chef emoji],” the administration member captioned her image. The snapshot revealed that the majority of her ingredients bore the 365 Whole Foods Market label.

It’s worth highlighting that Whole Foods has been under Jeff Bezos’ ownership since Amazon purchased the supermarket chain in 2017, reports.

Considering Trump and Jeff allegedly maintain a tense relationship, it’s noteworthy that Karoline continues patronizing Whole Foods, despite her strong allegiance to the POTUS.

This past April, Trump reportedly contacted the online retail mogul to express frustration over Amazon’s supposed plans to display figures alongside product costs, alerting shoppers to exactly how much Trump’s tariffs were adding to the final price, CNN reported. The New Republic disclosed that Amazon had planned the strategy as a reaction to Trump’s tariff battle on global imports, which drove up costs.

When Karoline was questioned about the circumstances, she characterized it as a “hostile and political” move on Jeff’s behalf.

“This is a hostile and political act by Amazon. Why didn’t Amazon do this when the Biden administration hiked inflation to the highest level in 40 years? And I would also add that it’s not a surprise,” Karoline declared.

Following Trump’s conversation with a prominent backer, Jeff’s tariff price display scheme was abandoned.

“Of course he was pissed…. Why should a multibillion-dollar company pass off costs to consumers?” an unnamed source disclosed to CNN.

Despite their disputes, Jeff still acted as the more mature party and extended an invitation to Trump for his and his wife Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in June 2025.

Based on The Wall Street Journal’s reporting, Trump was unable to attend Jeff’s wedding due to schedule conflicts.
