Jens Cajuste is expected to leave Napoli during the summer transfer window and now has two concrete options with Ipswich Town and Besiktas both keen on completing a deal with the Partenopei.

Ipswich and Besiktas both pushing for Cajuste

Football Italia can confirm that Besiktas have been pushing to close a deal with Napoli for the services of midfielder Cajuste, who spent the 2024-25 season on loan in the Premier League with Ipswich Town.

Though Besiktas have been pushing to close a deal with Napoli, they do not yet have a full agreement in place with Cajuste himself.

Now, in the last few hours, Ipswich have tried again with a new approach to sign the 25-year-old, despite their relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2024-25 season.

As a result, Cajuste is expected to take his time and evaluate his best next steps.

It remains to be seen whether Ipswich will go all the way in negotiations for the Sweden international.
