Inter Milan have teenage Parma defender Giovanni Leoni in their sights this summer.

The Nerazzurri had already tried to sign Leoni last summer. However, Parma beat them to the punch.

But now, Inter are once again keen on Leoni’s signature. And the arrival of Cristian Chivu as coach – who worked successfully with Leoni at Parma – has further entrenched their interest.

Parma are not going to let Leoni go for cheap, however. Reportedly, the Emilians want a fee of at least €30 million for the 19-year-old.

Therefore, Inter will have to find a way to put together the cash for an offer for Leoni.

This is particularly the case after the Nerazzurri have already invested in deals for the likes of Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, and Ange-Yoan Bonny.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, there is one particularly likely candidate who Inter could cash in on in order to sign Leoni.

German international defender Yann Bisseck has suitors in the Premier League. And according to the Corriere, Inter could sell him to make way for Leoni.
