Hot on its heels is Beer in Devon, earning an impressive eighty percent rating. This quaint fishing village was lauded for its serene setting and timeless appeal. However, some also noted that with proper investment, towns like Bognor Regis could still recapture their former appeal.

Bangor in Gwynedd followed with thirty-eight percent, and Clacton-on-Sea in Essex received forty-two percent, highlighting similar concerns about limited activities and outdated facilities.

• Southend-on-Sea, Essex – Forty-three percent
• Fleetwood, Lancashire – Forty-six percent
• Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset – Forty-six percent
• Blackpool, Lancashire – Forty-eight percent
• Weston-super-Mare, Somerset – Forty-nine percent
• Great Yarmouth, Norfolk – Fifty percent
• Ayr, South Ayrshire – Fifty-one percent
