Morata problem as Galatasaray demand compensation for Como move

Alvaro Morata is eager to make a return to Serie A for Como this summer, but Galatasaray want compensation for releasing him from his Milan loan early.

As reported already this week, the Spanish veteran is a prime transfer target for Cesc Fabregas and Como.

A formal proposal was sent today and the player is very enthusiastic about the idea of playing in Serie A again after his brief Milan experience.

Morata does not want to remain with Galatasaray

However, there are suggestions that Galatasaray are irritated at the speed of these negotiations, as he was meant to be on loan until January 2026.

The Turkish side paid €6m for this privilege and want compensation if they are to let him leave early.

Galatasaray also have an obligation to buy set at €8m if it is activated by January 15 and certain conditions are met.

The 32-year-old scored seven goals with three assists in 16 competitive appearances for Galatasaray.
