Exclusive: Burnley prepare offer for Lazio’s Tchaouna

Loum Tchaouna could now be on his way out of Lazio. After weeks of speculation and conflicting reports – Burnley, who had already shown interest in the 2003-born winger, have just signalled their intention to submit a formal offer worth at least €14 million, potentially with added bonuses.

If these terms are confirmed, Lazio are expected to accept.

Their original plan was to have Tchaouna join Sarri for preseason training, but the newly promoted Premier League club’s renewed push may prove decisive in finalising his departure.

Short stay for Tchaouna at Lazio

Tchaouna only signed for the Biancocelesti in July 2024, completing an €8.4 million switch from Salernitana. However, he now looks set to depart the club.

In his time with Lazio, the Frenchman scored two goals for the club – once in Serie A and once in the Europa League. where he also provided an assist.

The 21-year-old also has nine appearances and one goal for the France U21 national team.
