World’s biggest TikToker Khaby Lame arrested over illegal status: Barron Trump’s best friend – US News

Khabane ‘Khaby’ Lame, the biggest TikToker in the world, was reportedly arrested this week. According to conservative internet personality Bo Loudon, who’s previously claimed to be Barron Trump‘s best friend, the Senegal-born influencer is currently in the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) custody, and is being held at the Henderson Detention Centre.

The famous TikToker is best known for mockingly debunking complicated “life hack” videos under the hashtag “Learn from Khaby” on the internet. As the most-followed public figure on the social media platform, he is often pulled off unexpected high-profile collaborations with notable celebrities, including Will Smith and Tom Cruise.

Barron Trump’s ‘best friend’ reports TikToker Khaby Lame’s arrest

Loudon appears to have “broken” the news of Khaby’s arrest to the internet on early Saturday morning (IST), as he claimed to have reported him “as an illegal alien.” The staunch Donald Trump supporter began his series of online posts addressing Lame’s reported apprehension by tweeting: “Far-left ILLEGAL ALIEN TikToker Khaby Lame was just ARRESTED and is now in ICE custody under President Trump.”

The first of many posts he shared on X read: “I discovered he was an illegal who overstayed an invalid VISA, evaded taxes, and I personally took action to have him deported. No one is above the law!”

Around an hour later, Bo Loudon came back online to share more details of Khaby’s alleged ICE detention, saying, “According to the official DHS website, he’s currently being held at the Henderson Detention Centre and is in ICE CUSTODY.” In the same post, the far-right personality plugged what appears to be a screenshot of the US and Immigration and Customs Enforcement website, highlighting the TikToker’s country of birth as Senegal and his A-Number as 220963977.

His internet onslaughts continued in a third post, wherein Bo said that he had been working with “patriots at President Trump’s DHS” to get Khaby Lame arrested. Accusing him of being “an illegal alien” yet again, Loudon claimed that the influencer was nabbed in Las Vegas.

Despite claims of Khaby Lame’s potential deportation, confirmation of ICE detention awaited

Contrary to the hefty claims made by Barron’s self-proclaimed best friend that Khaby’s arrest could be verified via the official ICE Locator, no such details were recovered in the database at the time of writing. When The Financial Express typed in the listed purported detention details on the Online Detainee Locator System, the official website’s search by A-Number prompted zero results. Neither government officials nor Khabane Lame’s team have issued a statement as of yet.

Despite the lack of further official confirmation on the issue, Bo Loudon’s tweets went viral on X, as many others continued to regurgitate the allegations of Khaby’s illegal status in the United States. Meanwhile, the comic TikToker has lived in Italy his whole life.

And yet, he was only granted Italian citizenship in 2022. At the time reputed global outlets, including CBS News and the Guardian reported that Lame had lived in Italy since he was one, which inevitably got him admitting that he “always felt Italian.” Though now the biggest TikToker in the world, he only found viral fame in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic after losing his factory job in Chivasso.

Khaby has over 160 million followers on TikTok, while boasting more than 80 million follower-count on Instagram.
