Jennifer Gates Shares Family Snap with Dad Bill and Sister Phoebe

Jennifer Gates has a lot to celebrate!

The 28-year-old daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, who announced late last month that she is expecting her second child with husband Nayel Nassar, attended a wedding over the weekend — and shared a sweet snap from the festivities that also featured her dad and youngest sister Phoebe

“The most special wedding weekend imaginable,” Jennifer wrote alongside photos on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, July 14. “Congratulations to Troy and Mary. We love you.” (The bride, Mary Armintrout, is a granddaughter of William H. Gates II, the Microsoft co-founder’s late father.)

In another snap, Jennifer cradled her bump while smiling alongside her husband in some photo booth snaps.

Jennifer wore a multicolored long printed sundress to the wedding, while Phoebe, 21, donned a pink minidress, and their father sported a dark-blue suit.

The wedding weekend was the latest happy occasion in the life of the soon-to-be mother of two.

The expectant mom shared news of baby No. 2 on Instagram Thursday, June 27, posting a photo where she cradled her bump in a blue dress with daughter Leila, 16 months, holding one of her hands.

“Leila, being promoted to big sister 💕,” she captioned the sweet photo.

The eldest Gates sibling, who has made time to pass down her passion for horses to her young daughter, also recently graduated from medical school.

“Dr. Gates, MD, MPH 👩‍⚕️. Can’t believe we’ve reached this moment, a little girl’s childhood aspiration come true,” she wrote in a social media post at the time. “It’s been a whirlwind of learning, exams, late nights, tears, discipline and many moments of self-doubt, but the highs certainly outweighed the lows these past 5 years.”

“I am deeply grateful for this experience and so indebted and thankful to my professors, mentors, friends, and family for their endless support along the way,” Jennifer continued.

Of course, Jennifer isn’t the only graduate in the family!

Phoebe, 21, graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Science in human biology on June 15 — and making the day even more special was the fact that her mom served as the commencement speaker.

“I knew I had to make it happen if I could, because I wanted to watch my mother deliver this year’s commencement speech as a graduate,” Phoebe told Nylon. “I can’t think of a better ending!”
