Hong Kong police are searching for two suspects who allegedly attacked a 20-year-old man with sharp weapons at a bus terminal in Admiralty.
Police were alerted at 10.17pm on Wednesday that two men were suspected of attacking a young man with sharp weapons at a bus terminal on Queensway, a major road in Admiralty. The assailants then fled the scene.
The victim sustained hand and back injuries and was sent to Queen Mary Hospital in Pok Fu Lam for treatment, police said.
After a preliminary investigation, the case was temporarily classified as wounding and handed over to the anti-triad unit of Central police district for follow-up investigations, according to the force. No arrests have been made.
Police said both suspects wore dark tops and light-coloured trousers, as well as blue face masks, during the incident. One of them also wore a hat.
Online photos showed traces of blood on the ground at the scene of the attack and police officers searching nearby bushes.
