警方就JPEX案檢控16人包括林作等 6人屬核心成員 主腦在逃 (16:11) – 20251105 – 港聞 – 即時新聞

警方至今凍結資產總值約2.28億元。警方商業罪案調查科總警司黃震宇說,被控16人中,6人屬JPEX核心成員,涉串謀詐騙、洗黑錢、妨礙司法公正、欺詐地或罔顧實情地誘使他人投資虛擬資產; 7名屬於加密貨幣場外交易所的相關人士及KOL等,同涉詐騙、洗黑錢等罪;3人屬傀儡戶口持有人。據了解,今次被落案控告的人士包括林作、陳怡、網紅「湘湘」、YouTuber「朱公子」、全民造星參加者趙敬賢、「賣幣袋鼠」營運總監歐焯基。

警方另已鎖定仍鎖兩名JPEX集團的在逃主腦及一名骨幹成員,並透過國際刑警組織發出紅色通緝令。黃震宇表示,若發現3人在任何地區出現,會與當地執法部門聯絡,商討如何將他們緝拿歸案。

黃震宇則表示,JPEX案非常複雜,除涉及多名受害者,亦有有海量數據及交易紀錄,警方需要很多時間跟進及調查,加上案件中的電腦設備要做法理鑑證,要時間處理證物及證據 、抽絲剝繭並尋找有用的資料,最終找出重要證據,在諮詢律政司法侓意見後,相信足以提出檢控。他續指,今次屬第一輪檢控行動,不排除稍後適當時候會作第二輪檢控。

商業罪案調查科高級警司孔慶勳說,由案發至今,從來無公司或個人承認為JPEX的真正營運者,警方需作出大量調查去釐清誰是幕後主腦、核心成員或共犯。她又說,案件牽涉大量銀行戶口及加密貨幣帳戶,警方需花費大量時間分析,調查JPEX的運作模式以及犯罪得益的流向,而由於案件有別於傳統金融詐騙,故要聯同多個領域的專家及證監會合作。

警方由2023年9月至今共接獲2700多人報案,損失金額超過16億元。被問到受害人如何取回涉案金額,黃震宇稱要經民事程序,建議受害人諮詢法律意見了解。
