裝修工:早「掛波」小題大做

家住長沙灣、在何文田工作的市民鄭先生向本報表示,他從事裝修行業,今日已提前放工,接受訪問時正在等待女朋友收工。他認為,天文台今次提早這麼多掛風球或有些許「小題大做」,掛風球時仍未有刮風下雨;但他亦表示,理解政府需方便下午開工、返回公司路程較遠的市民,因此需要提前較多發出警示。至於颱風前準備,鄭先生說並未特別搶購民生物資,料今日返回家時超市仍未關門,屆時再購買亦不遲。

家住新界市民讚早「掛波」夠時間準備

家住新界西、在中環附近工作的許先生向本報表示,天文台警示發出時間較好,有充足時間給他準備,公司於中午12點左右已經要求職員返家。另外,他說今次預警時間足夠,他作為返工人士,都可以更好的安排照顧家中小朋友。

有在東華三院旗下港島區康健中心工作的職員向本報表示,今次政府安排良好,統籌令康健中心整體營運順暢。另有家住港島區的文員區女士表示,公司於今日下午1點半開始讓員工下班,家裡有家人負責照顧小朋友,已妥善處理,她無需著急趕回家。

海上渡輪服務因應八號風球逐步停駛,中環往坪洲、長洲的尾班渡輪均在下午3時15分開出,記者3時在場觀察,不少人趕船回家,人流在3時10分前後減少。市民楊小姐表示,公司上司了解到她住長洲,不會安排她做全程在公司的工作,她亦都可以早些放工。她續指,不同崗位都有自己責任,儘管老闆可能會提早讓員工下班,但員工仍需完成自己崗位上的職責,堅守崗位,不可擅離,因此認為政府亦未必可以乾脆地要求全日停工。市民容先生則表示在中環工作,來到碼頭只需要10至20分鐘,時間非常寬裕,他可就住最後一班船時間規劃行程,不擔心趕不到船。

下午3時許,警方接獲一名男子報案,指柴灣嘉業街60號有人墮海。救援人員到場救起一男一女及一名男童。其中男童及女子昏迷,救護員在場為兩人急救。警方正調查事件,案件暫時列作有人墮海。傷者送院後目前正於深切治療部。警方指,涉事一家四口當時到現場觀浪。警方及民安隊事後在多處岸邊勸喻市民返回安全位置,呼籲市民切勿外出追風逐浪。 現場附近停泊一輛私家車,相信屬於涉案家庭,懷疑他們駕車到上址觀浪。消防處副消防總長(機構策略)霍振明指,今日下午3時24分,消防接報柴灣嘉業街海邊有人遇溺。消防約5分鐘後到場,發現3名遇溺人士,包括一男、一女及一小童。霍指,3人墮海位置位於防波堤,而消防到場時,已有經過的舢板船家救起女事主及小童,男事主則仍在海面等待救援。行動中,消防出動3輛消防車、3艘消防船、3輛救護車。霍展示地圖,顯示男童獲救位置與3人墮海位置有一定距離。 霍續指,女事主及小童雖然獲救,但海面與岸邊高度差約兩米,為了盡快為兩人急救,救援人員到舢板,並將小童移到岸上施行心肺復蘇法,又用AED機器協助急救;另外,由於海面情况不穩,救援人員將男女事主兩人移到船上緊急救援,約需十多分鐘安排傷者上岸。3人送往東區醫院搶救。 初步消息指,涉案一家四口之中,父親約40歲,母親約38歲,兩人懷疑帶同約9歲女兒及約5歲兒子到場觀浪,其間母子墮海,父親跳落水救人,3人由路過船家救起,其後由消防接手搶救,女童坐在岸邊沒有受傷。據悉,涉案一家四口當中,父親清醒,母子昏迷送院,暫無生命危險。 現場附近停泊一輛私家車,相信屬於涉案家庭,懷疑他們駕車到上址觀浪。 目擊者陳先生指,當時見到海浪捲走事主,大聲呼叫,附近船家聞悉後救起事主。陳續指,當時見到男子跳落海救人,一名女童在岸上驚慌痛哭。當時附近約有十幾人。約5分鐘後救援人員到場,當時船家已經救起兩人。 (衛永康攝) 警務處柴灣分區指揮官警司趙慧明指,目前已經八號風球,海浪將會愈來愈大,呼籲市民切勿追風逐浪,因這些行爲不但危害自身安全,亦危害緊急服務執行人員及救護人員的安危,如有市民不聽從警方指示,警方會採取相應行動。被問到,警方會否針對不聽勸告的市民嚴厲執法,趙說會因應危險情況,會將市民首先移離危險地方,就今次事件,救人爲先,稍後會再跟進。 消防處已啓動應急機制,所有人員已進入緊急戒備狀態,除了病假、產假、侍產假的人員,其餘人員已全部被召回崗位候命。另外,處長指揮室、高級指揮室、緊急事故協調中心已經啓動,並與保安局緊急事故監察及支援中心緊密聯絡,調派消防資源。 Source link
